“Without true connection and communication you have a shut down horse who doesn’t feel heard. And when horses don’t feel heard they certainly won’t trust you. We are rewriting the story for horses by teaching their humans how to hear their horses, rather than only seeing them for their human agendas.” Erica Langkau
“Connecting with horses in true partnership means being willing to examine our own inner workings; we will be asked to journey inward and shine a light on the places within ourselves that are asking for integration. Something powerful happens when we let go of what we think should happen and we embrace what is. With courage and vulnerability we can learn to drop our stories and open ourselves to possibilities.” Dr. Maya

Live Events
Horses are powerful teachers. When we connect with horses, we are offered an opportunity to connect with our authentic selves and our intuitive knowing. Deepening our relationship with the natural world generates profound expansion and transformation in all aspects of our lives.

Growth occurs when we are willing to show up with open-hearted curiosity, especially when the answers are not clear, to drop expectations and agendas, and to arrive together with the intention of integration.

Join us for one of our upcoming, live weekend events, dedicated to true connection and communication and to healing in community.

Throughout the weekend clinics, we'll explore the neuroscience of equine connection, intuition, and manifestation; we'll learn how to customize equine training and groundwork exercises that truly support harmony in motion.

These live events are open to everyone and do not require any previous experience with horses.

About Erica Meza Langkau
Erica and her family are the founders of Everlasting Stables in Waterford, Vermont.
Erica started her journey with horses at the age of seven. One of her first grade teachers owned a farm and was the leader of a 4-H group. After begging her parents to join the 4-H group and begin horseback riding lessons, Erica's path with horses began.
Erica leased horses and participated in 4-H and local shows until the age of 14, when she rescued her heart horse, Everlasting Flicka.
Erica and Flicka began taking dressage lessons together when Erica was a senior in high school. After becoming the Valedictorian of her graduating high school class, Erica received a full tuition scholarship to Cazenovia College where she majored in biology and minored in equine studies. This was a unique minor that was created for Erica, combining the business management side of the equine industry and equine sciences. Erica was also on the Dressage Equestrian team at Cazenovia. Flicka joined her on her college journey where Erica boarded her at an off-campus facility. Erica took the skills she was learning on the dressage team and applied them to her riding with Flicka. They had officially determined their niche.
When Erica and Flicka came home from college, Erica became a working student for a USDF Gold Medal trainer in NH. She took Flicka with her and fully immersed in every aspect of this paid internship. This time together was not only a gift for Erica and Flicka, it was also an incredible training opportunity for Erica, offering experience in high level dressage with horses and clients.
The story of Erica and Flicka is the very heart of Everlasting Stables. Everlasting Stables began with the necessity of providing care for Erica's own horses, Noir and Piper, but soon transformed into a dream. Today, Erica has an English balanced seat lesson program that continues to grow, and Everlasting Stables is home to 18 horses. Three of these horses are members of Erica's family, and the rest are entrusted under her care through their boarding options. Everlasting Stables is evolving into a sanctuary for horses where souls are reunited, horses are heard, and true connections are encouraged.
Everlasting Flicka transitioned in 2018, but her soul creates an aura above and around Everlasting Stables. Erica and Flicka's journey together continues to inspire horses and humans alike.
