About Us

Our
Mission

Partners In Integrative Healing and State Street TMS are women-owned and operated healthcare clinics dedicated to supporting healing in relationship to self and to the collective. We provide a comprehensive range of services including Clinical Medical and Psychiatric Services, Metaphysical & Intuitive Services, and Interventional Services utilizing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for advanced neurophysiologic and psychiatric treatment. Our work is rooted in evidence-based interventions and liberatory practices; we strive to provide meaningful and accessible paths to healing for all.

At our practice, we believe health is more than the absence of illness—it is a state of balance and well-being that encompasses the physical, mental, emotional, social, and environmental aspects of life. We are committed to redefining healthcare through a whole-person approach that moves beyond symptom management and annual wellness visits, creating meaningful partnerships that support long-term health, resilience, and healing.

Our model of care integrates evidence-based medicine with principles of lifestyle medicine, focusing on identifying and addressing the root causes of disease rather than simply treating symptoms. Through personalized strategies that may include nutrition, movement, restorative sleep, stress management, healthy relationships, and sustainable lifestyle changes, we empower individuals to actively participate in their healing journey. We believe the body has an extraordinary capacity for restoration, and that chronic disease prevention—and in some cases reversal—is possible through intentional, individualized care.

We also recognize that health does not exist in isolation. Personal well-being is deeply influenced by the communities we live in, the systems that shape our experiences, and our connection to the world around us. We believe all living beings deserve to be treated with kindness, dignity, and equity. We advocate for social justice, climate justice, and the healing relationship between humans and nature. We are proud allies of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and recognize that discrimination and inequity negatively affect mental, physical, and emotional health.

Our commitment extends beyond patient care into continual growth and self-reflection. We are dedicated to ongoing learning, listening, and actively working to divest from systems of oppression so we can create a more compassionate, inclusive, and healing-centered space for all.

We believe healthcare can be personal, empowering, and transformative—and that true healing begins when every individual feels seen, heard, and supported.

Dr. Maya Carlet, DNP, APRN, FNP, L.Ac

Founder, Co-Owner, CNO
Medical Director of Primary Care & Speciality Medical Services

Hello and welcome! I am Dr. Maya Carlet. I am the Co-Owner and Director of Medical Services for two health care practices in Central Vermont, Partners In Integrative Healing and State Street TMS, where we offer medical and psychiatric clinical services and interventional services in the form of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

I have practiced medicine for over two decades; I have a Doctorate in Western Medicine as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Master’s in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. My medical practice is a fluid state of evolution and is rooted in my expertise in evidence-based eastern and western medicine and extensive leadership and mentoring experience. The services that I offer reflect my studies and experiences in five-element theory, archetypal and shadow work, craniosacral therapy, yoga, massage, breathwork, applied neuroscience, intuitive practices, and equine facilitated integration services for horses and humans.

Throughout my life and work, I have observed the profound transformation that results from my own psychospiritual work, and in deepening connections with the natural world. The services that I offer reflect the wisdom gained from my diverse training and continued personal development. My medicine embodies nature consciousness and serves to support the liberation of the collective.

Please note: Dr. Carlet’s Panel is full for insurance-based medical services.

She is currently accepting new patients on a limited basis for cash-pay services only.
